Restaurant Chains Offer Free Meals For Veterans Day

A few famous restaurant chains are showing their patriotic colors and getting with the spirit of Veterans Day 2012 by offering free meals to veterans this Veterans Day.

Many men and women who served in the military and have a military ID who proof of service can enjoy free meals or snacks from such establishments as Olive Garden, Applebee's, Krispy Kreme, Denny's, Friendly's, Golden Corral, Sizzler, Chili's, Red Lobster, and even Hooters, reports Examiner.

While some restaurants only dished out free food on Sunday or Monday, a few chains are going for both, including California Pizza Kitchen, Outback Steakhouse and UNO.
