Rep. Nancy Mace Accuses Her Ex-Fiancé & Other Men Of Assault Against Her & Other Women In Shocking Speech On House Floor

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-South Carolina) accused her ex-fiancé, Patrick Bryant, and three other men of committing acts of sexual assault against her and other women.

On Monday evening, Mace made these allegations during a speech on the House Floor.

“In November 2023, I accidentally uncovered some of the most heinous crimes against women imaginable,” she declared during her speech, which had been titled “Iron Sharpens Iron.”

“We’re talking about rape, non-consensual photos, non-consensual videos of women and underage girls and the premeditated, calculated exploitation of women and girls in my district,” she added.

“These men aren’t just criminals; they are predators,” the South Carolina congresswoman said while displaying the criminals’ names and faces on a poster. “And you can see the names and the faces of these predators on this board to my right tonight.”

The men presented on this board included Bryant, Eric Bowman, John Osborne and Brian Musgrave.

Mace stated that these men “have bought [themselves] a one-way ticket to hell.”

“On the night of October 30, 2023, I received a text message with screenshots from a friend of mine in South Carolina,” she recounted. “It showed my then fiancé, Patrick Bryant, active on a dating app in South Carolina.”

“Politics is a blood sport,” she stated. “I thought this was your usual run-of-the-mill political game. I thought it was a joke.”

“When I confronted Patrick Bryant four days later on November [2023], the first thing he did was take his phone and put it in a safe and lock it – a safe identical to this one,” Mace recounted as she held up a safe on the House floor.

“It was so confusing,” the congresswoman admitted. “I didn’t understand. Why would someone put their cell phone in a safe and lock it?”

She said that Bryant “also gave [her] the four-digit code to his safe the night that [she] was given legal access to his phone.

“One of the first videos I saw was of a woman,” Mace stated. “She was incapacitated, and she was being raped. I found some photos of what appeared to be a teenager undressed in the kind of underwear a child would wear to me.”

She also noted that the woman looked “scared and nervous.”

“I saw another video of another woman who was undressed, clearly on a camera unaware she was being filmed,” Mace added. “She was slender and she had long brown hair. I turned up the volume to hear if there was audio. I heard my voice. I zoomed in on the video in that woman was me.

“My entire body was paralyzed, and I couldn’t move my feet on the floor,” the congresswoman recalled. “Was I breathing? I have no idea. I could feel pain shooting out of my heart, out of my chest – dropped straight down to the floor like I was in a nose dive. The pain running through my veins wouldn’t stop.”

Mace, who believed that these men “purposefully incapacitated” her prior to assaulting her, stated that she found this hidden camera “at a property owned by Patrick Bryant and his business partner Brian Musgrave.”

Later on during her speech, she recalled a time she found photos and videos of Osborne sexually assaulting a woman at the home of Bowman.

Bowman, along with Bryant, had his phone out while the two of them and Osborne assaulted her, according to Mace.

She also remembered having blacked out after being offered two small vodka sodas on a night in 2022 when she was raped.

She noted that this incident happened “at a property owned by Patrick Bryant and Brian Musgrave.”

Bryant told reporters that he “categorically [denies] these allegations.”

“I take this matter seriously and will cooperate fully with any necessary legal processes to clear my name,” he added.

The State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) said in a statement that its agents had opened an investigation into Bryant back in December 2023 on allegations of “assault, harassment, and voyeurism.”

The SLED stated that the investigation remained active and would be sent to a prosecutor for review once it was completed.

The agency also said it “conducted multiple interviews, served multiple search warrants, and has a well-documented case file that will be available for release upon the conclusion of the case.”

Even though her choice to air the accusations in a floor speech was uncommon, Mace declared in a press release that House members’ statements on the House floor “are quintessential ‘legislative acts.'” Because of this, these statements are protected by the “speech or debate” clause, which usually protects lawmakers from being sued for what they say.

“This isn’t a story about bitter ex-girlfriends or consensual sex tapes – there are plenty of those,” the congresswoman claimed. “I don’t care what two consenting adults agree to do. She mentioned a dozen bills on which she had worked in the House, on topics ranging from stopping voyeurism to banning transgender women from using women’s bathrooms at the U.S. Capitol or House office buildings.”

Macy is known for her controversial behavior. In January, Mace went to X to challenge Rep. Jasmine Crockett to a fight on the House floor over trans rights.
