Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Calls Right-Wing Activist Laura Loomer’s Comment About Harris ‘Extremely Racist’

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) got into a heated argument with right-wing political activist Laura Loomer over racist comments that the activist made about Kamala Harris.

Loomer made the comments about Harris in an X post on Sunday.

“If @KamalaHarris wins, the White House will smell like curry & White House speeches will be facilitated via a call center, and the American people will only be able to convey their feedback through a customer satisfaction survey at the end of the call that nobody will understand,” she wrote on X.

On Wednesday morning, Greene replied to the political activist’s post. “This is appalling and extremely racist,” the Georgia representative declared in an X post. “It does not represent who we are as Republicans or MAGA…. This type of behavior should not be tolerated ever. @LauraLoomer should take this down.”

In response to this post, Loomer defended her comments.

“Once again, @mtgreenee, who is extremely jealous and vindictive over the fact that she wasn’t successful in turning Donald Trump against me, is now behaving like a leftist and accusing me of being ‘racist.’ Kamala Harris is on video calling herself Indian and saying she cooks with curry,” she said on Wednesday.

“She also refuses to speak to the media, so there is a strong likelihood that she would set up a call center to avoid speaking to the press and being honest with the American people,” she said. “Hey MTG, speaking of racism, one of your former staffers told me you have a favorite word that starts with N.”

“It’s really funny how @mtgreenee (a raging antisemite who said Jews use space lasers to control the world) wants to pretend like I’m a ‘racist’ because I made a funny joke about Kamala Harris making cooking videos and buying curry spice at an anti-Trump spice shop and I mocked how she uses her Indian mom as a way to dodge questions,” Loomer stated in another post on Thursday, alluding to a Greene post in 2018 where she suggested that “Jewish space lasers” started the California wild fires.

“I won’t be apologizing for having a sense of humor. I also believe in free speech, @mtgreenee, which you clearly don’t support,” she added. “I get it. You’re jealous of me because I won despite your planted hit pieces about me in the @nytimes. Get over it.”

Greene continued to attack Loomer at the U.S. Capitol on Thursday.

“I have concerns about her rhetoric and her hateful tone,” the representative told a group of reporters during the ongoing fallout. “To me, many of the comments that she makes and how she attacks Republicans like me, many other Republicans that are strong supporters of President Trump, I think they’re a huge problem, and that doesn’t represent MAGA as a whole. It doesn’t represent who we are as Republicans.”

“And, you know, I typically try to ignore her post, but someone had sent me that post about Kamala Harris, and it bothered me so much,” Greene mentioned. “And you know, my personality, everyone knows I’m outspoken, and I just felt like it was time to call it out. I think it’s wrong. We’re not a party of identity politics. We’re a party for all Americans.”

The congresswoman’s comments seemed to be referencing both the pet-eating conspiracy theory that Trump floated in the debate and Sen. JD Vance’s (R-Ohio) “childless cat ladies” remark in 2021.

“Laura Loomer’s outright lies, instability, and manic toxicity have no place in MAGA,” Greene stated on X on Thursday.

Loomer soon replied to this post on the same day. “While you were busy having sexual affairs, cheating on your husband and getting divorced, and propping up @SpeakerMcCarthy and engaging in insider trading in Congress @MTG, I broke many of the stories regarding the weaponized lawfare against President Trump,” she wrote.

“I have done all of the heavy lifting while you have been writing books and attacking Trump’s closest Allies in an effort toelevate yourself,” she then stated.

“I stand by everything I have said,” Loomer declared in a separate post. “I will not be deleting any tweets.”
