Rep Denies Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino Is In Rehab

The Situation is not doing so well, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's in rehab. Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, one of the stars of the hit MTV reality show The Jersey Shore, was reportedly being sent to rehab for substance abuse, according to celebrity gossip site TMZ, but Sorrentino's rep denied the claims.

“[Sorrentino] has spent the past several weeks at an undisclosed location for much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule,” his rep said in a statement.

The Situation himself tried to preempt reports with his own message. "Don't believe everything you hear," he tweeted.

The Jersey Shore recently announced it will return for a sixth season, and castmate Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi also finally admitted to being pregnant.
