RECAP: William Levy, Katherine Jenkins On Top Again On 'DWTS'

If anything proves the dedication of the Dancing with the Stars contestants, it's the number of injuries they sustain competing for the coveted Mirrorball trophy. This week, overnight sensation William Levy added his name to the list of celebs who have suffered injuries on DWTS, including Melissa Gilbert and Maria Menounos this season alone, not to mention former contestant Jennifer Grey, who had to undergo surgery for a ruptured disc after her Season 11 DWTS victory.

It was Latin night on DWTS, so the Cuban-born Levy felt extra pressure to light up the stage with partner Cheryl Burke and their Argentine tango, despite his doctor's warning that he should stay off his injured ankle, in which he had torn a ligament. "I don't want to be the only Latino to go out on Latin Week," Levy said, and his reasoning paid off when he and Burke earned a near-perfect score of 29 from judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, and Bruno Tonioli.

"I'm gathering myself," Inaba explained as she praised Levy's tango. "That was ridiculously amazing. You are so convincing. All I could think was, 'The Latin dancing James Bond in the house!'"

Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas tied with Levy and Burke, also with an Argentine tango. "This, for me, was like a rose. It had beauty, but underneath the surface is the thorn — sharp, menacing," said Goodman.

Perhaps the most talked-about event, however, was the kiss that Menounos and her dancing partner (maybe more?) Derek Hough shared after their salsa, fueling the rumors that there might be something more than dancing going on between the two hotties. Hough insisted after the show, however, that "it was part of the fun … tongue-and-cheek." No pun intended, right?

Though Inaba wasn't impressed with the lip-lock, calling it a "sell-out" move that defied dancing's "illusion of passion," the couple still walked away in second place with a score of 27, tying with Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd.

Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower came in at a secure 26, while Jaleel White and Kym Johnson slipped into sixth place at 24. The low scores of the evening went to Gladys Knight, Melissa Gilbert, and Gavin DeGraw, who came in at 22, 21, and 19, respectively.

Tune in to Dancing with the Stars tonight to see who will be eliminated.
