RECAP: The Robertsons Return On A&E's 'Duck Dynasty'

In case you haven't noticed, it's the redneck era of television, as TLC's Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and its esteemed predecessor, Toddlers in Tiaras could have proven all by themselves, to say nothing of American Chopper, Pawn Stars, Storage Wars, Swamp People, etc., and A&E is getting in on the action with its premiere of Duck Dynasty's second season, which aired Wednesday night with two new episodes — "The Grass & the Furious" and "Driving Miss Sadie", bringing back the beloved "millionaire redneck" Robertson family, who operate a highly successful duck call business in Louisiana.

The Robertsons, more famous for looking like a ZZ Top cover band than their duck call business, don't only talk about their unique line of work, of course. Last night's episodes, for example, took into consideration everything from lawn mower racing to pie making … and, of course, STDs. When Phil takes Willie's son, John Luke, and his new girlfriend out on his boat, he takes the opportunity to teach them not just about the birds and the bees, but also about the ailments those little critters can carry.

"Better a good day's catch of fish …. than a lifetime of crabs," Phil imparts. "You go from happy, happy, happy … to crabby, crabby, crabby." Beat that, Honey Boo Boo.

Duck Dynasty airs on A&E Wednesday nights at 9 p.m.
