RECAP: 'Real Housewives Of Orange County' Toast To Better Days

As those familiar with the twisted universe represented by Bravo's Real Housewives series know, reconciliation, if it ever comes, comes briefly. So what to make of Gretchen Rossi and Tamra Barney's apparent chumminess on the Season 7 Premiere of The Real Housewives Of Orange County? Just wait.

After Season 6's seemingly endless back-and-forth, which culminated in a tense reunion special, Rossi and Barney sat down to have a rare heart-to-heart on Tuesday's episode. "Neither one of us are angels in any part of this," Barney admitted to Rossi, after giving her a pink bracelet with a key that would "lock up our past and put it behind us, or we can use it to open up our future as friends."

Then the magic moment happened. "I was totally at fault," Barney said. "I apologize from deep in my heart."

Rossi seemed willing to cut out the drama and move on. "I'm sick of being angry about it. … I've spent so much time being angry about it," Rossi said, and then they parted with a toast to "no more bullsh*t!"

See? Apologies do work. For now….
