RECAP: Melissa Gilbert, Martina Navratilova In Danger Of Elimination On ABC's 'DWTS'

Despite a stellar premiere last Monday, the new contestants on Season 14 of Dancing With the Stars are starting to polarize, with celebs like Katherine Jenkins, William Levy, Jaleel White, and Roshon Fegan on top, and the unfortunate Melissa Gilbert, Gavin DeGraw, and Martina Navratilova trailing. Jack Wagner, Donald Driver, Maria Menounos, Sherri Shepherd and Gladys Knight came in somewhere in the middle, likely securing their spots for at least another week.

Monday night marked the second dance competition, the scores of which were added to last week's. The dancers took on the quickstep and jive, and while the performances remained strong overall, judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli got a little tougher on their contestants.

Rapidly emerging frontrunner Jenkins even got something other than rave reviews when Goodman told her that her sexy jive was not his "cup of tea." The judge later acknowledged that his underscoring of Donald Driver last week was a mistake, after Driver performed an accomplished quickstep this week.

Though Gilbert apparently thought she'd derive inspiration by dancing to a tune by Billy Idol, who she once dated, her performance was just as lackluster as it was on the show's otherwise stellar premiere, inciting Inaba to tell her that she was "thinking too much" about her moves.

Even Gilbert's clumsy footwork was upstaged by tennis star Navratilova's dance floor disaster. Even the generally sweet Inaba quipped, "Oh, my darling, I think that serve went into the net."

The first elimination of the season will happen based on these scores, and of course America's votes, on Tuesday night's show.
