ABC's second episode of Duets, its new singing competition, kicked things off with a duet between judges/mentors Robin Thicke and Kelly Clarkson (can someone please bottle that up and sell it?).
Then it was on to the contestant duets, starting with Bridget Carrington and John Legend, who performed the Aretha Franklin/George Michael hit "I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)," which lifted up Carrington's sixth-place finish from last week.
Legend had another high-scoring duet with contestant Meleana Brown, with their rendition of the Lionel Richie/Diana Ross duet "Endless Love." Tying with Brown for the No. 1 position was J Rome, whose performance of "You're the One That I Want" from Grease with Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles solidified his frontrunner status.
