Rebel Wilson‘s winter getaway was anything but pitch perfect. The 38-year-old actress set off to Aspen, Colorado, to try and learn to ski. Things did not go according to plan. Wilson would inform her Instagram followers Sunday that she she ended up having to be rescued from the top of a mountain after realizing she had gone up too high and couldn’t get back down.

“This is a bit too experienced for me, so I’m just gonna slide down,” she joked on her Instagram Story, before things escalated. Wilson then shared a video of herself strapped to a yellow stretcher while her rescuer got ready to take her down.

The Pitch Perfect star would write, “#HorizontalSkiing,” alongside a video of her rescue, in a nod to her character, Fat Amy and her “horizontal running.”

After arriving back to her Aspen hotel she’d give out another update. “Hey guys, just wanted to let you know, I did get back to the hotel safely and I wanted to thank everybody in Aspen for their help on the slopes because you guys are amazing. You do this all day, every day, whereas me, it was only my second day of skiing,” she said. “I lost feeling in my left foot. I think it was the ski boot. I think it was too tight,” she added. “I think maybe I need to buy professional ski boots or something.”

After returning from the trip, she thanked her fellow skiers and vow to be back. She’d write, “Thanks to all my ski buddies in Aspen these past two days @jeffbeacher @carlyjsteel @esterdean @mickeygooch Chip Douglas, Kung Fu Scott and the legendary Piglet x I tried to crush but I was worried about crushing my legs and not being able to complete CATS filming in Jan/Feb so took it REAL EASY out there! It’s the most gorgeous activity to do and next time I’ll make sure I’m not under contract on a movie so I can really go for it!! Oh and thanks to all the kind locals who helped me when it was clear I was struggling!!”

The Australian star is currently filming Cats which is expected to be out at some point during 2019.
