Rebel Wilson married her partner, Ramona Agruma, on Saturday at a destination wedding in Sardinia, Italy.
The comedian and actress, 44, made things official with her fiancée, 40, at the Hotel Cala di Volpe.
The wedding comes after Wilson first announced her relationship with Agruma in June 2022 when she posted a picture of the pair on Instagram. The social media launch also marked Wilson’s coming out as a member of the LGBTQ community.
At the start of their relationship, the couple welcomed a daughter together, Royce Lillian, through surrogacy in November 2022.
In their wedding photos, the happy brides both wore Pronovias gowns. Wilson’s was more straightforward, while Agruma’s dress had beaded detailing.
In May 2022, Wilson opened up about how she met Agruma through a friend and that they spent weeks talking on the phone before they finally met in person.
“It’s great to have someone who feels like an equal partner and be in a healthy relationship,” Wilson said in an interview. “There were times — I’m not saying with all my exes, they’re great — but there were some times that I was probably putting up with that I shouldn’t have. So it feels different to be in a really healthy relationship.”
In her memoir, Rebel Rising, the actress shared details about the proposal.
“I tell her how special she is to me. And then I get down on one knee and open the ring box. I end with, ‘So in this cliché way, on this cliché day, Ramona Agruma, will you marry me?’ ‘Yes,’ she says through the tears streaming down her face.”
