Rebel Wilson Announces Engagement To Ramona Agruma

Rebel Wilson took to Instagram to announce her engagement to L.A.-based fashion designer, Ramona Agruma, on Sunday.

Sharing pictures of the “magical” proposal, the Pitch Perfect star announced, “We said YES!” before thanking Tiffany and Co. for her “stunning ring” and Disneyland for helping her pull off the surprise proposal and showering Agruma in rose petals in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Wilson had first hinted at her new relationship in May 2022. Without specifying her partner’s gender, she revealed that they had met through a mutual friend and had spoken on the phone for weeks before meeting.

Just one month later, the Australian native went public with her relationship through her social media. “I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince … but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess 💗🌈💗#loveislove,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

It was later revealed that the sudden publicization of her relationship with Agruma wasn’t her own choice but rather coerced after Australia’s Sydney Morning Herald gave her a deadline to comment on her new relationship with the designer.

The Australian publication received widespread backlash for forcing Wilson to come out, and in response, issued an apology and removed the original article from their website. The Senior Year actress broke her silence about the incident, thanking supporters for their comments and saying that while it was a challenging situation she was “trying to handle it with grace.”
