Reba McEntire will hit the stage with legendary country duo Brooks and Dunn at the 2015 CMA Awards next week.
McEntire announced the news to country fans on her Twitter on Wednesday, sharing her excitement.
“So excited to announce that I’m performing with Ronnie Dunn and Kix Brooks on the Country Music Awards next Wed. Nov. 4th,” she tweeted.
McEntire and the male country duo, have already worked together in a Las Vegas residency billed as Reba, Brooks & Dunn: Together in Vegas, which started in June at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
The country singers have since added a date in December, followed by an announcement that they’ve extended the run into 2016, by adding dates for this May.
McEntire returned with a new album, Love Somebody, in 2015 as the first signing to Nash Icon Records, and Dunn recently released “Ain’t No Trucks in Texas,” the first single from an album that he will also release through Nash Icon Records.
The Vegas shows marked the first time that Brooks and Dunn had performed together in public since calling it quits in 2010, assuring that there was no bad blood between them.
“There was never a rift,” Ronnie Dunn told People in June. “We [broke up] because we’d been doing it for over 20 years and felt like we’d accomplished everything that we could.”
