Reality Star Chase Chrisley Arrested For Slapping Bar Manager In Atlanta While His Parents Serve Prison Sentence

Chrisley Knows Best star Chase Chrisley, 28, was arrested Thursday in Atlanta, accused of slapping a bar manager at Twin Peaks Sports Bar during an altercation earlier this week.

Chrisley was charged with simple battery and released on a $10,000 bond.

The incident occurred Monday evening, with a police report stating that Chrisley became “really drunk” around 7:35 p.m., acting “disrespectful and belligerent,” prompting the bar manager to ask him to leave. The manager claims Chrisley slapped him in the face twice before leaving the premises.

Police audio of the manager’s 911 call captures him saying, “Do not touch me,” and describing the encounter: “There’s a guest I’m trying to ask to leave politely. He’s being a little aggressive, and he actually assaulted me with his hand. The manager also reported that Chrisley had a driver attempting to escort him out of the building.

Chrisley’s attorneys—Drew Findling, Marissa Goldberg and Zack Findling—disputed the allegations, stating the situation “has been entirely blown out of proportion.”

In a statement, they said, “Chase Chrisley had done the right thing that evening by calling a driver to take him home. He did not assault anyone. Chase was trying to close out his tab and leave. We will be independently investigating the situation.”

The manager reportedly has security footage of the incident, which police are reviewing as part of their investigation.

Chase Chrisley rose to fame on the USA Network reality series Chrisley Knows Best (2014–2023) and its spinoff Growing Up Chrisley, which ran for four seasons. Both shows were canceled in 2023 following the conviction and sentencing of his parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, for bank fraud and tax evasion.

The couple, initially sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison in 2022, had their sentences reduced in 2023. Julie Chrisley now faces a seven-year term, the same as her original sentence.

Chrisley has not yet commented publicly on the incident.
