‘Real Housewives’ Star Kim Zolciak Slammed For Getting Lip Injections Amid Financial Crisis: ‘I Thought You Were Broke’

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak has been the subject of online criticism after posting herself getting lip injections on Instagram.

The now-deleted Instagram post depicted Zolciak going to a med spa on March 22 for lip and face enhancements. One of the comments on the post said, “I thought you were broke.”

It is unclear if Zolciak paid for the lip injections herself, as many businesses give celebrities free products and services for free for good publicity.

Zolciak’s financial situation has been publicized on the Internet for a while now after she started selling her purses and other luxury goods online. She and her husband Kroy Biermann, a retired NFL player have been raking up millions of dollars in debt from credit card companies, lawyers and even the IRS. According to many, Zolciak has had a gambling problem for years and suffered many losses from it.

In October, Zolciak and Biermann put up their Georgia mansion for sale for 6.6 million dollars. They originally bought the property for $880,000 in 2011. As of now, the property is listed for 4.4 million dollars. Zolciak and her husband will heavily profit if they are able to sell the house at the listed price.

Zolciak has been experiencing marital issues as well with Biermann. A few months ago Biermann claimed that Zolciak punched him in the head after he hid some valuables away from her due to their financial situation. Recently though, Zolciak stated that her and Biermann are not divorcing, yet court documents state otherwise. Currently the pair are fighting for custody over their children.
