Brandi Glanville is opening up about her recent hospital visits after claiming her swollen face was the result of a parasite. Fans were left in shock when the former model, 52, shared a post via X depicting her disfigured face.

“Sick it!” she captioned the picture. “Is that filler migration?” one fan asked. Another said, “No, it’s an immune response because she’s in poor health.”

Glanville detailed her health battle in an interview with Entertainment Tonight in January, noting that some doctors were convinced that her symptoms were stemming from a parasite.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum said that her battle has cost her “over 70,000” as she has tried to find a cure for the mysterious ailment. In July, the reality star blamed Bravo for her swollen appearance, saying that she was “miserable and depressed” due to her ongoing legal drama.

The star’s symptoms started in October of 2023 when she was taken to the hospital after passing out with a swollen face, causing both of her eyes to completely shut.

Glanville was ultimately diagnosed with stress-induced angioedema, a condition where swelling occurs under the skin.

The reality star said that the stress leading to her health scare came from accusations stemming from Caroline Manzo, alleging sexual misconduct during the filming of The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip in Morocco last year.

Although the incident was not captured on camera, Glanville said the accusations were “life-ruining” for her, leading to eventually led to her being axed from the show.

Manzo, who also left the show, filed a lawsuit alleging not only that Glanville assaulted her but that production encouraged it during the filming of The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip in Morocco last year.

During her interview with Entertainment Tonight, Glanville was asked why she thinks Bravo and Peacock haven’t released RHUGT so fans can see what supposedly occurred.

“That’s a great question. I mean, I know why. It’s because Caroline’s lawsuit,” she claimed.

Glanville continues to deny Manzo’s allegations and has threatened to sue Bravo over her poor health. She also accused Bravo exec Andy Cohen of misconduct.
