‘Real Housewives’ Star Brandi Glanville Accuses Andy Cohen Of Sexual Harassment

Brandi Glanville, a former cast member of popular reality shows such as The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Ultimate Girls Trip, has come forward with allegations of sexual harassment against Andy Cohen, the host of Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live and an executive producer of the Real Housewives franchise.

In a detailed letter from her legal representative, Glanville alleges Cohen sent her an inebriated video message in which he expressed his intention to sleep with another Bravo star while he thought of her and invited her to watch via Facetime.

The letter, sent by Glanville’s lawyer Bryan Freedman to NBCUniversal, Shed Media and Shed’s parent company Warner Bros. Discovery, highlights that Glanville felt both “trapped” and “disgusted” by the nature of Cohen’s exchange. After the public release of the letter, Cohen issued a statement that clarified the video was intended as a joke to Glanville and featured former Below Deck star Kate Chastain.

Cohen acknowledged that the video was inappropriate and offered his sincere apology, but emphasized that Glanville’s response indicated her understanding of the joke.

The incident has raised further concerns within the reality TV industry, as it comes on the heels of a lawsuit filed by Glanville’s castmate Caroline Manzo, who alleged sexual harassment and assault while she filmed the upcoming reality series The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip in Morocco.

Manzo, known for her appearance on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, accused Glanville of forcibly kissing her and engaging in inappropriate touching during the taping of an episode. The lawsuit, filed in a New York state court, also contends that Bravo and its production entities were aware of Glanville’s previous misconduct but still hired her to boost ratings for their new show.

Freedman’s letter, dated February 22, argues that Glanville has faced a damaging media campaign based on false allegations of sexual misconduct, which have mostly stemmed from her involvement in Ultimate Girls Trip: Morocco. The letter characterizes Manzo’s claims as “character assassination” and blames NBC and Shed Media for the deliberate distortion of consensual moments between adults into a #MeToo narrative. Furthermore, Glanville’s legal representation asserts that this is an attempt to sever ties with Glanville, undermine her credibility, and prevent her from disclosing potentially damaging revelations.

The letter also reveals an ongoing investigation by Glanville’s legal team into the practices of the reality television industry.

According to the letter, Glanville’s story aligns with countless others uncovered during this investigation, forming part of what is being referred to as the “Reality Reckoning” on social media.

The purpose of sending the letter is to preserve evidence for Glanville, as she contemplates potential legal action. The recipients of the letter are instructed to take immediate steps to safeguard all relevant documents and data involving Glanville’s claims against NBC, Warner Bros., Shed Media and Manzo. This includes electronic correspondence, communications, and video recordings related to the production of Ultimate Girls Trip: Morocco.

Glanville recently spoke out about how she was rejected for a plastic surgery procedure.
