Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Adrienne Maloof has recounted a kidnapping incident involving her infant son.
Nineteen years ago, Maloof was with her baby, his nanny and her security detail at Neiman Marcus when a strange woman tried to leave with her son.
“My nanny and I were there, and security was over further away, and this lady came up, and my son was crying, and she took him out of my nanny’s hands and started going toward the elevator,” Maloof said on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live.
“Thank god I had security, but he was in the back looking. The whole thing went down in seconds. It was, and that’s at Neiman Marcus, but I guess it makes sense if you’re looking for kids that come from wealth,” she continued.
Maloof described the kidnapping attempt as “terrible” and said the cops had to get involved.
“I was glad he saw it,” Maloof said about her security. “He wanted to be away from us. We were just sitting there and [giving] us our freedom, but no. He was on top of it. I actually thought, ‘Wow, thank god,’ because what if he wasn’t there.”
In 2013, Maloof divorced Dr. Paul Nassif, with whom she had three sons.
