According to a social media post from daughter Gia Giudice, the Real Housewives Of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice was hospitalized Thursday. In the Instagram story, Gia said her mom was “such a trooper” and asked fans of the show and friends of the family to “Pray for a speedy recovery.”
Giudice’s attorney, James J. Leonard Jr., added more details in a statement, “Teresa was admitted to the hospital last night and had a non-cosmetic emergency procedure this morning. She is recuperating and looking forward to a speedy recovery.”
Giudice has been very open about cosmetic procedures she has gotten, including breast augmentations, a nose job, and a procedure in February to reduce the appearance of veins in her legs. She stood by her cosmetic surgeries in a 2020 Instagram post which read, “I believe it’s important to always stand strong and feel like your best most confident self.”
Giudice currently stars in RHONJ and was featured in the first season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip alongside other iconic Housewives like Kyle Richards from Beverly Hills and Cynthia Bailey from Atlanta.
