Real Housewives of New York cast member Jules Wainstein called the police on her soon-to-be ex-husband Michael Wainstein Thursday morning.
Jules called the police because she felt threatened by the way Michael was speaking to her, according to an E! News source. Upon the arrival of the police, Michael was escorted into a car with their son Jagger, but there was no arrest made.
The call came one day after it became public that the couple of eight years was going through a divorce. A rep for Jules said that the cause of the divorce was Michael’s infidelity.
Jules also seems to be facing financial issues. According to The Daily Mail, the Board of Managers of the Apthorp Condominium filed a lien against Wainstein accusing her of not paying them $25,243.74 in costs related to commons charges and other amounts potentially linked to association fees. The lien, which was filed on May 5, remains active, meaning Wainstein has not made any payments.
Jules is said to getting support from family and friends through this time of transition.
