Bravo’s hit reality show Real Housewives of New Jersey returns for its seventh season on Sunday after a 20 month absence — and the show is bringing back both old and new cast members.
Teresa Giudice, an original cast member since the show’s first season, will return this season after spending 12 months in prison.
“This season was really fun for me, it really was,” Giudice told The Record. “This season reminded me of season one, when I first started the show. There were bittersweet moments about it also … But overall, I enjoyed doing this season.”
Giudice’s brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Melissa Gorga will also be returning to the cast this season.
Jacqueline Laurita of Franklin Lakes, is another original cast member from the show’s first six seasons, who will return for Season 7.
Siggy Flicker of Tenafly and Dolores Catania of North Haledon are the two new faces set to star this season.
Flicker has said she’s proud to be the first “Jewish Jersey housewife” — she has a 17-year-old son, 14-year-old daughter, 20-year-old stepson and 18-year-old stepdaughter.
Catania, is a divorced mother of a 20-year-old daughter and 17-year-old son.
“I helped cast Siggy and Dolores on the show. I pushed for them really hard,” Laurita revealed. “I thought they’d be amazing for the show.”
“They’re both great,” Giudice praised. “Siggy I just met through this show and she’s a ball of fire, and she’s lots of fun.”
