Raz-B, Former B2K Singer, In A Coma After Nightclub Attack
Raz-B, one-forth of former R&B group B2K, is currently in a coma after being attacked in a China nightclub with a bottle following a solo performance.
Raz-B, 28, had been performing at the club when a fight broke out. When he tried to break it up, he got in the crossfire of the action and was struck in the face with a glass bottle. Immediately following the incident, he was taken to the hospital where he underwent minor surgery to repair damage to his lip.
Though his injuries had appeared minor, the next day Raz-B didn’t wake up. A backup dancer who found the singer had him rushed to the hospital. “He is in a coma and needs as many prayers as possible,” Toy Jones, Raz-B’s publicist told TMZ.
Other sources have told the gossip site that Raz-B has been fading in and out of consciousness and requires a ventilator to breathe.
Raz-B was a founding member of boy band B2K, which also included Omarion, Lil’ Fizz and J-Boog. Their last album as a group, Pandemoniom, saw two of its singles place on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Since they split in 2004, Raz-B founded his own production company and has focused on solo projects.
