Raven Simone Leaving ‘The View’ To Pursue ‘That’s So Raven’ Sequel

After joining The View as a host in 2015, Raven Symone is leaving the show by year’s end to develop a That’s So Raven spin-off.

Symone, starring in the Disney show that ran from 2003 to 2007, announced on The View that the sequel will feature Raven as a now-divorced mother of two pre-teen kids, one of whom has inherited her ability to catch glimpses of the future.

Known for outspoken political beliefs, the 30-year-old actress has been appearing on The View less and less, approximately once a week. Raven’s last episode on The View will be this December.
