Rapper The Game had $100,000 worth of belongings stolen from him after a burglar broke into his car in the San Fernando Valley on Oct. 23. The rapper, 44, whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor, left his vehicle parked outside and, upon returning, realized that it had been broken into.
The culprit of the crime managed to escape with designer bags and jewelry amounting to $100,000. Taylor’s security took care of the situation, calling cops to the scene to write a report, but the Los Angeles Police Department has yet to make any arrests.
Despite his unfortunate luck, the rapper has been keeping busy in the studio and is currently working on his upcoming album, The Documentary 3. On Oct. 25, he took to Instagram to share a photo of a dimly lit studio. He captioned the post, “It’s just me and my thoughts. #TheDocumetary3.”
In August, he shared a photo of a whiteboard with The Documentary 3 written at the top, followed by a list of 18 numbers, possibly alluding to the number of tracks that could be on the album.
That same month, Taylor revealed he was set to welcome his fourth child with Shaniece Hairston soon.
When the rapper was asked about raising another baby at 44, he said that it would be a “different parenting experience.”
“I don’t know how I even made it to this point in my life doing the things that I was doing,” Taylor said. “But I made it; my kids are all fine, smart, straight-A students and good. So it’ll just be interesting to parent at this age.”
In 2017, the millionaire rapper was mocked on social media for searching for an unpaid assistant on Instagram.
