Rapper Lil Uzi Vert, who’s real name is Symere Bysil Woods, had a $24 million naturally pink diamond implanted on the center of his forehead.
Woods said the diamond is almost 11 carats and he has been paying it off since 2017. The stone comes from his favorite designer Elliot Eliantte.
The rapper has been active on social media explaining why he got it implanted and why it looks off centered.
“Y’all keep talking about it’s off, it still has a long bar in it so it can move ‘cause of the swelling,” he said in an Instagram story. When the swelling goes down, he continued, “it gon’ be right there.”
One Twitter user asked why he didn’t just get it set on a ring.
“If I lose the ring yeah U will make fun of me more than putting it in my forehead,” he said.
Woods said he does have insurance for it.
Other internet users got to work making memes out of the stone and comparing him to popular characters such as Vision, from the Marvel universe.
