Florida rapper Kodak Black, also known as Dieuson Octave, was released from jail in Florence County, South Carolina, on Thursday — after posting a $100,000 bond.
Black, 19, has been charged with criminal sexual conduct; he is accused of assaulting a woman in his hotel room following a concert he performed in South Carolina, back in February.
In August, a Florida judge sentenced the rapper to a year of house arrest and five years of probation on unrelated drug charges. He was serving his sentence in Florida before being extradited to South Carolina.
Black took to his Instagram after news of his release, and posted a picture of him smiling as he walked out of jail.
“I’m happy to be finally going back home to my family and friends,” he wrote alongside the photo. “I look forward to clearing my name in the near future.”
Black is currently signed to Atlantic Records, but has yet to release his first official album with the record company due to his legal struggles.
The rapper’s next court appearance in South Carolina is set for Feb. 8.
