Ramona Singer Throws Champagne In Kristen Taekman's Face On 'Real Housewives Of New York City'

Things got heated on Tuesday night’s episode of Real Housewives of New York City, when Ramona Singer threw her champagne in Kristen Taekman’s face.

The women of RHONYC were gathered for a spa day when the incident occurred. Singer was confronting Sonja Morgan about her much younger man, who is 23. Morgan was upset after her lover stood her up, and Singer revealed that she may have scared him off by calling a friend of his mother’s to get some dirt on him.

“He’s a little young. He could be your son. It’s incestuous,” Singer declared.

Morgan defended herself, saying, “Didn’t you watch The Graduate? Boys need experience!”

Morgan walked away from Singer and went to join Taekman and Aviva Drescher in the hot tub, with Singer following close behind.

“[Sonja] thinks between her legs instead of between her head sometimes. So, I was doing the mental work,” Singer insisted.

Taekman joined in, teasing Singer, saying, “Sounds like Ramona’s jealous.”

Singer was taken aback, and screamed at her, “Don’t add fuel to the fire,” before throwing her glass of champagne in Taekman’s face.

Shocked, Taekman paused for a moment before splashing Singer with water from the hot tub. Singer freaked out because she had just gotten her hair done for a party she was to attend that night.

“Ramona is a bully. Aviva and Sonja are sitting right there and they don’t even say anything? Is this normal behavior for a woman her age? Are you kidding me?” Taekman said in her confessional.

After the episode aired, Singer tweeted a semi-apology to Taekman, writing, “People make mistakes in the heat of the moment!”

Taekman, however, does not seem to be willing to forgive and forget. In her post-show blog, Taekman accused Singer of being out to get her.

“She keeps pushing me. I am not taking her bait. I think it’s irritating her even more that I am not freaking out back at her. I have a calm and rational way of dealing with her and I am getting the feeling that that’s new to her. Not cool to throw anything at anyone,” Taekman wrote.

Real Housewives of New York City airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
