Saturday Night Live had a Regina Georges reunion as Rachel McAdams made a surprise appearance to introduce musical guest Renee Rapp this weekend.
Rapp, who played Regina George in the Mean Girls Broadway musical and its 2024 film adaptation, was introduced by McAdams, who played the character in the original 2004 film.
Rapp then sang “Not My Fault” from the movie’s soundtrack. The surprises didn’t stop there, as Megan Thee Stallion jumped out of a cake to perform her verse.
Megan said she was the “black Regina George” in the verse.
The rapper later posted to social media a photo of herself, Rapp and McAdams doing the Spider-Man pointing meme.
“All the Regina’s in one room,” she captioned the post.
McAdams also appeared in a sketch with host Jacob Elordi, in which McAdams played an aspiring actress who says her name is Natalie Partman (not to be confused with Natalie Portman) while Elordi played a not-so-helpful working actor who gives poor advice in an acting class.
This was also SNL’s first episode following the show’s holiday hiatus.
