"They've both talked about this for awhile and are so excited. Everyone is beyond thrilled for them,” a Bilson insider told Us Weekly, adding, “They will make wonderful, hands-on parents.”

Bilson, 32, hasn’t been shy about addressing her desire to start a family with Christensen, 33. "To start a family would be good, any year in the next few years,” she recently told Health for the magazine's June issue. “I've always wanted to be a mom. I have always wanted kids. I can just see this little toddler waddling around the house."

Back in May 2013, Bilson shared a similar sentiment while talking to Cosmopolitan for her cover issue story. "I definitely have family on the brain. Having kids is something I want to see in my future—I hope," the Hart of Dixie star said. She added to Cosmopolitan UK, “Starting a family one day is definitely something I look forward to."

Bilson and Christensen first began dating in 2007 when they met on the set of Jumper. By December 2008, the two were engaged to be married but called off the impending nuptials in August 2010. Three months after their split, the acting pair reconciled.
