In the run-up to the announcement of the Academy Award nominees on January 24, a new list of the best movies of the year — this time by the Producers Guild of America — has shaken up the list of frontrunners for Best Picture. After suffering a bit from a lackluster box office performance, David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo has received a boost by appearing on the list, which last year predicted nine out of ten of the Oscar nominees, according to EW.com.

The Ides of March, which was snubbed by the Screen Actors' Guild, also surprisingly landed into the top ten list by the PGA, but whether or not that solidifies its chances for an Oscar nod is increasingly harder go gauge, given the new rules set by the Academy. The number of nominees will be determined by how the votes shake out — and not by a set number, as in past years.

Winners will be announced on January 21. Here is the complete list of the PGA's nominees:
