Prince Worked For Six Days Non-Stop Before His Death

Music icon Prince had been working for six straight days without sleep just before his death, according to his brother-in-law, Maurice Phillips.

“He worked 154 hours straight. I was with him just last weekend. He was a good brother-in-law,” Phillips said, speaking after a private family service at the singer’s estate.

Prince’s family also had the singer cremated out of public eye. Some of his possessions will be donated to a planned museum, as a memorial for his admirers. “It would be for the fans. He was all about the fans—this would remember his music, which is his legacy,” Phillips said. “Prince was always private but would have wanted his music remembered.”

Employees at the Electric Fetus record shop in Minneapolis said the musician looked “pale” and “weak” when he visited there five days before he died.

“Everyone I’ve talked to on that Saturday said he looked kind of pale and he was not totally looking in the best shape as he normally is,”  Max Timander, who works in the store, told reporters.
