Although nuptial rumors have followed Prince William, 28, and Katie Middleton, 28, throughout their 7-year courtship, could it be the two are finally getting married? According to the Daily Mail, new information suggests that the royal couple plan to wed next August.
The pair, who have been together since attending St. Andrews University, have long been the subject of marriage speculation. Prince William stated years ago that he would not get married until 28 or 30. Having just had that 28th birthday, rumors surrounding the possibility of an engagement have intensified. Middleton has been dubbed "Waity Katie" by British press for the long length of their courtship.
Sources speculate that the wedding will take place on August 31, to honor Prince William’s mother Princess Diana on the fourteenth anniversary of her death. The ceremony is believed to be scheduled at Westminster Abbey, where Diana’s funeral took place.
Of course, royal representatives totally deny the wedding rumors. As of now, no engagement, or wedding date, has been officially announced. –AMY LEE
