Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly planning on heading to New York City next month with their son Prince George in tow.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have added a trip to Manhattan to the itinerary to unveil their new charity, United for Wildlife. They’ll also take time to meet with the World Wildlife Fund and discuss their Wildlife Crime Project during their three-day stay.
'We will be in New York to talk about our Wildlife Crime Project,” a spokesperson for the World Wildlife Fund told the Daily Mail. “Which is why the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are involved.”
Middleton, who has had to back out of trips as of late due to her rough second pregnancy, has apparently never traveled to New York and is eager to do so. “Kate has never been to New York and she is really looking forward to it now that she is over her illness,” a source told the UK paper.
Another insider added, “Kate was upset she had to cancel her tour of Malta, but now she is over her morning sickness and really excited about America.”
As of yet, there’s been no official word about William and Kate’s travel plans or about whether or not they’ll be bringing their firstborn son along with them. “Any overseas visit will be announced in the usual manner in due course,” a palace spokesperson said.
