Prince Harry, only a day after it was confirmed he’d split from longtime girlfriend Cressida Bonas, was spotted partying with friends in Miami.
Harry, 29, landed in Florida on Wednesday and made his way to the Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel, where he was joined by his close pals in celebration of his best friend Guy Pelly’s upcoming Memphis nuptials, reported E! News.
For dinner, the royal bachelor and his crew dined at the Fontainebleau’s Chinese restaurant, Hakkasan. Harry was spotted there "happily chatting with his tablemates and one brunette female in particular, [but] it was all innocent, friendly and, well, civilized,” said eyewitness Miami Herald reporter Lesley Abravanel, who added, "This was no bachelor party."
"Had you not known there was a member of the British royal family sitting there with his back to the opening, you'd have thought it was possibly a convention of accountants or something similarly staid," Abravanel continued. "They were definitely more Palm Beach than Miami Beach."
After dinner, Harry’s group reportedly got drinks at Fontainebleu’s LIV Night Club. While the prince apparently let loose, he didn’t appear to take advantage of his new single status during his night out with the guys.
Harry will make his way to Memphis before Friday night to attend Pelly and Holiday Inn heiress Lizzy Wilson’s rehearsal dinner.
On Tuesday, it was revealed that Harry and Bonas had decided to break up after two years of dating. Multiple reasons have been attributed to the split, including Bonas being too “needy” and wary of being the future wife of a prince. Just this past October, the two former lovebirds were rumored to be on the path to engagement.
