Prince Harry and fiancé Meghan Markle visited Reprezent Radio in Brixton, a program established in 2008 by the royal family.

PRINCE HARRY & MEGHAN MARKLE VISIT REPREZENT RADIO STATION

Reprezent Radio was founded to combat the alarming rise in knife crime, giving London youth a place to develop and socialize off the streets. “Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle will this afternoon visit @ReprezentRadio in POP Brixton, to see their work supporting young people through creative training in radio and broadcasting,” the official Twitter account of Kensington Palace wrote. “Training hundreds of young people every year to develop useful skills and help progress to further education and employment opportunities, over 4,000 young people have been through the Reprezent programme.”

In addition, the program offers young folk the chance to deal with mental health issues head on while gaining work experience.

Harry and Markle met with program directors, on air personalities, and young people who help Reprezent run. Crowds gathered in Brixton, in South London, to greet the royal couple, who will be wed this coming May. This is the couple’s second working visit since becoming engaged last November.
