Prince Harry Loses Another Staffer As The CEO Of His Charity Steps Down

Prince Harry faces another blow after Richard Miller, the CEO of his children’s charity Sentebale, resigned from his role. Based in London, Miller stepped down from his post after five years at the organization Harry co-founded with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in 2006.

The name of the youth-focused charity, which translates to “forget me not,” was founded to honor his late mother, Princess Diana – whose favorite flowers were forget-me-nots. The charity serves to help underprivileged children.

Sentebale confirmed that Miller had left and said he would be replaced by an interim executive director, Carmel Gaillard, based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

“This shift reflects our continued commitment to being guided by voices from within the region we serve,” Harry and Seeiso said in a statement. “We sincerely thank Richard for his pivotal role in steering our organization toward this important evolution.”

Miller’s resignation comes only one month after Andrew Tucker, another charity contributor, announced he was leaving after nearly 10 years.

The charity encountered a significant change last year after advertising guru Johnny Hornby quit. Hornby served as a trustee for 11 years at the organization, spending five as chairman.

Harry and Meghan Markle were hit with another departure earlier this year when their chief of staff, Josh Kettlerquit after three months

In 2018, Markle was accused of bullying staff so severely that they had no other choice but to quit.

The duke refuted these claims in his memoir Spare, writing that his wife was a kind and considerate boss who “checked on staff who were ill, sent baskets of food or flowers or goodies to anyone struggling, depressed, off sick.”
