Singer Ed Sheeran poses with his MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) medal that was presented to him by the Prince of Wales during an Investiture ceremony on December 7, 2017 at Buckingham Palace, London.
It was only a matter of time before these two joined forces. Ed Sheeran is close friends with Prince Harry’s cousin Princess Beatrice. He also received an MBE in 2017 from his father Prince Charles.
For World Mental Health Day, Sheeran and Prince Harry shared a worldwide message. In an Instagram video posted by the @sussexroyal account, the singer is seen going over to the Duke’s house to have an open conversation with him.
In the video, the prince explains that he feels mental health is an issue not talked about enough and asks Sheeran if he could write a song to raise awareness about it. They advise everyone to ask how someone is doing and listen for the answer, along with being willing to ask for help when you need it.
