Prince Harry has been secretly dating American actress Meghan Markle, known for her role as Rachel Zane on Suits.
The two met in Toronto earlier this year and hit it off. He was there promoting next year’s Invictus Games for disabled servicemen and women, while she was filming for the USA series. Markle is a global ambassador for World Vision Canada and is very involved in humanitarian efforts – the role has brought her to Rwanda and Afghanistan, where she showed support for U.S. troops. “Harry loves to hear about Meghan’s humanitarian work,” a source told the Daily Express. “She is sassy, smart and vivacious and he just adores her love of life.”
“He’s happier than he’s been for many years,” the source continued. “They are taking each week as it comes and just enjoying each other’s company but it’s fair to say that they love seeing each other and there’s a definite chemistry between them.”
Sources also shared that Harry appreciate how unfazed Markle is about being in the presence of royalty. Markle has apparently already met Prince William and Princess Kate, who took a liking to her right away.
Markle got her acting debut on General Hospital, before being cast in Suits in 2011. Born to an African-American mother and white father, Markle is also an ambassador for the biracial community. Markle is very active on social media sites as well.
