Prince Harry sported a silk top hat for his first appearance at the annual Royal Ascot Horse Races hosted by his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.

Harry arrived at the event in a carriage, sitting beside his uncle, Prince Andrew, the Duke of York. Across from them sat Harry's grandmother and Prince Philip. In the second carriage were his father Prince Charles, Camilla and Harry's cousins – Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.

Harry paired his striking top hat with a long tailcoat, gray pinstripe pants, white shirt, yellow vest and blue patterned tie. Prepared for inclement weather, Harry walked about the racing grounds at Ascot with a black umbrella.

The Royal Ascot races traditionally last for five days, during which time the Queen holds court at Windsor Castle. Each day of the races, she’s accompanied by various members of her family.
