Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Watch UK Team Trials For Invictus Games
After Prince Harry and Meghan Markel announced they will be stepping away from their senior royal duties last week, a royal backlash has sparked serious controversy within the family.
Royal aides warned that the two would be punished for ignoring very clear orders from the Queen to not go public with the decision until the proposal was finalized by senior family members.
It is said that Prince Charles and Prince William were left ‘incandescent with rage’ after learning of the announcement just ten minutes before it was published on the couples’ Instagram page.

A senior royal source said the Queen and her family were “deeply disappointed” by the news while another said they were “shocked, saddened and downright furious.”
This all coming on the day of the Duchess of Cambridge’s birthday celebration, where the family seemed to put on a show of unity.
By stepping away, the terms of the Harry and Meghan’s departure were laid out. The two want to be “financially independent” and plan to earn their own income, whereby they will give up their right to money from the sovereign grant. They will retain their home at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor as a UK base., and keep their state-funded Metropolitan Police protection officers.
A source told the Daily Mail, “The level of deceit has been staggering and everyone from the top of the royal household to the bottom feels like they have been stabbed in the back.”
