A newly remastered version of Led Zeppelin’s BBC Sessions album, entitled The Complete BBC Sessions, is being released this year, with a previously unreleased song, “Sunshine Woman.”
The original BBC Sessions debuted Nov. 11, 1997, and features both studio and live sessions of the band. The new release will feature these, as well as further BBC recordings and the new song, which you can hear below.
The track was originally recorded in 1969 in London and aired on the BBC World Service, but somehow the tapes were lost. In the late 90s, a private recording leaked, but this year, the song will get its proper release with the album rerelease.
This collection will feature three CDs and will contain songs such as “Communication Breakdown” and “Heartbreaker,” as well as song covers by Robert Johnson and Eddie Cochran.
