President Donald Trump Mocks Rosie O’Donnell In New Tweets

Late Thursday night, President Donald Trump, in the throes of political backlash over his firing of former FBI director James Comey, took sometime to tweet to an old enemy of his – Rosie O’Donnell.

“We finally agree on something Rosie,” Trump wrote. The possibly sarcastic, possibly olive-branch in tweet form was in response to a tweet O’Donnell sent out on December 20, 2016 that read “FIRE COMEY.”

O’Donnell replied to the newest tweet, calling the President a “sadistic man.”

“- u don’t even realize the kind of trouble u r in – comeys people believe in him – for real – they have the proof – u r a sadistic man,” O’Donnell wrote, adding the hashtag “USA.”

The O’Donnell tweet was part of a larger effort by the President to paint Democrats, and his other political opponents – or otherwise – as hypocrites. In the days after the firing of Comey – and its many conflicting narratives and timelines – Trump and his administration have shown shock over the fact that this move was not celebrated by Democrats.

“Dems have been complaining for months & months about Dir. Comey. Now that he has been fired they PRETEND to be aggrieved. Phony hypocrites!” the President tweeted on Wednesday.

On Friday morning the President of the United States of America continued his tweet storm, sending out several messages honing in on several familiar themes – “fake media,” “leaking,” and “China.”

The O’Donnell-Trump Feud began in 2006 after O’Donnell poked fun at Trump’s hair and mentioned his multiple bankruptcies and his notorious dealings with unpaid contractors. Trump responded to O’Donnell’s remarks by calling her “a slob” with “a fat, ugly face.”
