YouTube star Nicole Thea has died at age 24 along with her unborn son whom she and her partner Global Boga, were going to name Reign. 

Thea’s mother informed her fans via her daughter’s social media platforms. On Instagram she wrote, “As a family we ask that you give us privacy because our hearts are truly broken and we are struggling to cope with what has happened. Thank you her mum RIP My beautiful baby girl Nicnac and my grandson Reign, I will miss you for the rest of my life until we meet again in eternal heaven. Xxx.”

In the post it was also revealed that Boga will be posting Thea’s upcoming YouTube content. She explained, “To all Nicole’s friends and supporters it is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Nicole and her son she and Boga named Reign sadly passed away on Saturday morning. Also Nicole pre-schedule a few YouTube videos and Boga has made the decision to allow them to be aired.”

No cause of death was give and two days prior to Thea’s death, Boga had posted with a stroller and said, “If you believe children are BIG BLESSINGS from God drop some ‘Rrrrrrr’ I Can’t wait to be taking my son to the parks & Playground 😂💙.”

On July 12, Thea posted a YouTube video setting up for a pregnancy photoshoot where she was going to pose in a bathtub full of milk. She shared a photo on Instagram with the caption, “I forgot how I use to pose without my baby bump to be honest… I see why pregnant women hold their stomach. It’s natural now.”

Thea, who is popular on platforms such as YouTube, Instagram and TikTok announced her pregnancy in a tweet in April. She shared, “Can’t hide this any longer, secrets out. GOD gave us the biggest blessing yet. Can’t believe this bubba will be half of me + half of the loml. GOD made no mistakes making him the father. Mummy and Daddy can’t wait to love, hold and cherish you for ever and ever.” She added that she was 22 weeks pregnant at the time.
