Post Malone was hospitalized on Saturday a week after fall during a concert. He cancelled a planned performance for last night.

“I’m having a very difficult time breathing, and there’s like a stabbing pain whenever I breathe or move,” the singer wrote in a note on Twitter Saturday evening. “We’re in the hospital now, but with this pain, I can’t do the show tonight. I’m so f–king sorry.

Last week, in a social media video, he thanked his fans “for putting up with my dumb a––,” and explained why his stage has a hole in it for part of the show. Post does part of his set with an acoustic guitar, which is then lowered below the stage when he’s done.

Once the guitar is removed, “there’s this big a–– hole,” as the rapper and singer eloquently put it. He said he got a clean bill of health and some pain medication from the hospital, and promised St. Louis fans “next time I’m around this way, we’re gonna do a two hour show for you.”
