Post Malone Falls & Bruises Ribs On Stage At St. Louis Show

Post Malone took a nasty fall at his St. Louis show on Saturday. During his smash hit “Circles,” the rapper and singer fell through an opening in the Enterprise Center stage, and was visibly in a lot of pain.

The opening in question was a trap door meant for lowering his guitar and moving other equipment.

After the wipeout, Malone was helped up by medics and security personnel, and given treatment backstage. He returned just 15 minutes later to finish the show, and stayed afterwards to sign autographs, despite his injuries.

When he made it back to the stage, Malone addressed the concerned crowd. “I want to thank you for your patience,” he said. “And I’m sorry there was a big-a– hole in the stage.”

The singer added an emotional, “I want to say thank you to everybody for hanging in there, and I want to say thank you everybody, I got the best f-cking fans in the world.”

“No matter what we f-cking do, I’m going to keep trying to kick ass and keep going and make this f-cking tour awesome,” he assured the audience.

Malone seemed to be holding his ribs throughout the last few songs, “Rockstar” and “Cooped Up.”

Following the concert, the “Better Now” performer got checked out at the hospital, where he was prescribed pain medication for bruised ribs.

On Sunday, the artist updated fans about his condition and apologized to them on Twitter. “I just want to apologize to everyone in St. Louis,” he wrote. “Next time I’m around this way we’re going to do a two-hour show for you, so we can make up for the couple missed songs.”

The rapper’s manager, Dre London, praised him on Instagram after the incident. “In true Posty fashion, loving his fans, he finished the show! I truly don’t know any artist like him,” London gushed.

Malone seemed to be back in good spirits at the Columbus stop of his “Twelve Carat Tour” on Sunday.
