Pop star Pink was given a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame Tuesday, surrounded by fans, friends and family, including husband Carey Hart and their children Jameson and Willow (shown above). And although the Los Angeles sky was a bit overcast, that didn’t stop the singer from getting down on the ground next to her newly minted star to snap a photograph with her family.
The 39-year-old singer, whose real name is Alecia Moore, gave a heartfelt speech thanking Hart for helping her get to where she is and calling her children her “stars.” She thanked her dad for encouraging her, and told anyone watching that they should follow their dreams.
Introducing the Grammy-nominated singer was comedian Ellen DeGeneres, who called Pink a “badass rock star” and yet “the most grounded person that you will ever meet.”
