Last month, two airplane pilots claim they were passed by a unidentified flying object while flying 30,000 feet in the air in Arizona. The Federal Aviation Administration has just released the radio broadcast.
On February 24, pilots of an American Airlines flight and Phoenix Air reported to Albuquerque Center air traffic control that there was a unidentified object flying beside their planes. Phoenix Air was the first on to call in at 3:30 p.m.. The spotting of the flying objects took place 500 miles away from Roswell, New Mexico, according to CBS News.

“Was anybody above us that passed us like 30 seconds ago?” the pilot asks according to the tapes released to the Phoenix New Times. The FAA responded, “negative.” Later officials were still thinking about the occurrence and warned the American Airlines flight. “American 1095, let me know if you see anything pass over you here in the next 15 miles,” the control tower official said. The American Airlines pilot was surprised at this request. “Over us?” he questioned. Forty-five seconds later passed, the pilot responded saying, “…I don’t know what it was, but it was at least two — three thousand feet above us. Yeah, it passed right over us.”
The pilot couldn’t describe the overall appearance of the object but did say it had a “big reflection” flew “several thousand feet above us ” and was going ” in the opposite direction of us.”

Lynn Lunsford of the FAA told the publication, “Other than the brief conversation between two aircraft, the controller was unable to verify that any other aircraft was in the area. We have a close working relationship with a number of other agencies and safely handle military aircraft and civilian aircraft of all types in that area every day, including high-altitude weather balloons.”
The sighting took place 500 miles away from Roswell, New Mexico.
The American Airlines pilot was asked if he thought the object was a “Google balloon?”
“Doubtful,” was his response. Some unsurprisingly blurted out, “UFO!”
