Australian Victoria’s Secret supermodel Miranda Kerr, 29, strips nude for Harper’s Bazaar's fall Fashion Issue. So what does nudity have to do with fashion? It’s all about the accessories. Photographer Terry Richardson, famous for his scantily-clad shoots, snaps Kerr in black-and-white and totally naked except for several pairs of tall boots. “I really love over-the-knee boots. I think they’re super sexy and they’re fun,” Kerr said in a behind-the-scenes video. “And they’re also very strong and empowering.”

The September issue, which hits newsstands on August 21 and features Gwen Stefani in pink on the front cover, shows Kerr sporting boots by Tom Ford, Hermes and Reed Krakoff — but Kerr insists that it’s not about the brand or the price tag for her. “I have always admired Audrey Hepburn’s style and my Nan has always been a style icon for me,” Kerr told the magazine. “Growing up I would play in her wardrobe and was very influenced by her. She taught me that you don’t need to have a lot of money to have style. It’s the way you put things together and how you carry yourself.” Kerr, who has an 18-month-old son with actor Orlando Bloom, also values comfort. “I prefer investing in classic, well-tailored pieces,” Kerr continued. “For me it’s all about keeping things simple and feeling comfortable in what I am wearing.”

Judging from the shoot, Kerr’s most comfortable outfit appears to be her birthday suit. Kerr has posed nude several times before, namely for GQ Magazine, Australian Rolling Stone, W magazine and the 2010 Pirelli calendar, and is a lingerie runway regular for Victoria’s Secret. Some recently leaked nude pictures of the model, however, weren’t originally intended for public consumption. French photographer Laurent Darmon, who shot Kerr naked before she became famous, reportedly posted the risqué shots on his website this past weekend before being forced to take them down, according to NY Daily News.

As if there’s any doubt left from the pictures as to whether she takes care of her body, Kerr also addresses her passion for healthy living in the style Q&A. "I live by the philosophy that beauty starts from within and I make a conscious effort to fill my body with nutrients through the food I eat," Kerr said. "Becoming a mother has made me even more aware and more passionate about nutrition and wellness. So much so that I am now a certified health coach practitioner." The model, who is an avid yoga and Pilates practitioner, also reveals tips about her balanced diet. “I adopt the 80/20 rule. 80% good, 20% indulgent and that works for me and my body personally," Kerr said. "I love food and enjoy eating fresh organic produce. I drink warm water and lemon every morning and I also drink lots of good quality purified and preferably alkaline water throughout the day. My Nan introduced me to Noni juice when I was twelve years old, which I drink twice daily.”
