After confirming that he would be starring in the new Wonder Woman film, a new photo of actor Chris Pine on the set has been revealed.
A picture that was snapped by fellow castmate Saïd Taghmaoui before it was quickly deleted on his Twitter page has been saved by numerous entertainment websites.
The photo shows Taghmaoui sitting with Pine on the set of the upcoming DC Comics movie. It is unsure of the role that Taghmaoui is playing but it can be confirmed that Pine will be playing Steve Trevor, who is the love of Wonder Woman throughout the original comics. Talking with the French website Premiere about the upcoming film, Pine says, “I’m not allowed to tell you much. I’m super excited, of course. Gal Godot is super talented and (Wonder Woman director) Patty Jenkins is going to deliver. What excites me the most is to get to be in a film with a female super hero. With a woman in the lead role. I’m teamed with an intelligent, beautiful strong woman to destroy evil and save humanity. You know, the routine.”
Wonder Woman, starring Gal Gadot as the title character, is set for premiere date of June 23, 2017 through Warner Bros. Pictures.
