Lady Gaga spent her weekend in the studio, hard at work on her new album. "Miss you so little monsters. Been working so hard for you. I can't wait for u to hear the new music," she tweeted Friday night, with the above picture. She also posted a photo of herself in the studio on Saturday, tweeting, "I'm on a heater, but this record ain't about poker."
Speculation about Gaga's new album has been at a fever pitch since she performed a new song, "You and I," at Elton John's White Tie & Tiara Ball in late June. She later performed that song on NBC's Today Show on July 9, when a record-breaking audience of 20,000 crowded into Rockefeller Plaza to see her.
The album's release date is in 2011, and Lady Gaga has said she will reveal its name at midnight on New Year's Eve 2010. With her first two albums, The Fame and The Fame Monster, the artist has sold more than 15 million albums worldwide. –ISHITA SINGH
